I’m Michał Narożny, a photographer and documentary filmmaker with 17 years behind the camera.

I’m drawn to the everyday: the way to work, kitchen light, my own street. My personal projects deal with memory, time and place, often shot on film. My series End of Love, about the Balkans, was published by EEP Berlin and as a full issue of Subjectively Objective, and my work has appeared in BOOOOOOOM, FLOAT Magazine and Don’t Take Pictures.

On the commercial side, I started with several years at the agency GPD before joining HelloFresh in Berlin. There I spent six years going from food photographer to Lead Photographer, as part of the team that built the photo studio and scaled it across 14 European markets. Since then I’ve shot and produced content for brands like Wayfair, Rebuy and Numa.

I studied photography at the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts in Poznań. Today I work freelance as a photographer, filmmaker and creative producer. I also run Around The Table, a bilingual documentary series about people and food in Berlin, and lead photo walks for anyone who wants to learn to see their own surroundings differently.

I’m also a dad, which taught me to slow down and look closer.
